Prof. Bart Nnaji Urges Bells University Graduates to Make a Difference
Professor Bart O. Nnaji, Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of Bells University of Technology, has challenged graduates to distinguish themselves through excellence, leadership and meaningful contributions to society.

Speaking at the University’s 18th Convocation Ceremony on 7 November 2026 in Ota, Ogun State, the Founder and Chairman of Geometric Power Group congratulated the graduating students and encouraged them to build on their achievements.

“I urge you to consolidate on your achievements and always show yourselves as good ambassadors of this University by making the difference wherever you may find yourselves.”

Professor Nnaji commended parents and guardians for their sacrifices and acknowledged the contributions of the University’s leadership, including its Promoter, former President Olusegun Obasanjo, and other distinguished stakeholders.

The ceremony celebrated academic excellence and outstanding achievement, with Ebunoluwa Oluwanifemi Olatunji of the Department of Applied Mathematics with Statistics receiving the Pro-Chancellor’s Prize. She graduated with an impressive cumulative grade point average of 4.93.

The convocation followed the University’s 18th Convocation Lecture, delivered on 6 November by Dr. Kunle Olawunmi of Chrisland University, Abeokuta, on “Statecraft, Good Governance for Security and Sovereign Growth.”

Professor Nnaji’s message reflects his longstanding commitment to education, innovation and human capital development, values that continue to shape his contributions across academia, engineering, public service and Nigeria’s power sector.

Geometric Power Group congratulates the graduating class and wishes them success as they embark on the next chapter of their journeys.
