Geometric Power congratulates our Chairman, Professor Bart Nnaji, on his recent appointment by Governor Francis Nwifuru as Chairman of the newly inaugurated 15-member Economic Team of Ebonyi State.
The announcement, widely reported in the media, underscores Prof. Nnaji’s distinguished record as a globally recognized engineer, energy expert, and former Minister of Power. His leadership of the Economic Team is expected to play a pivotal role in advancing Governor Nwifuru’s industrialisation agenda, which aims to unlock the state’s vast economic potential, harness its solid mineral resources, and drive sustainable development.
During the inauguration, the Governor emphasized the importance of the team in achieving the administration’s People’s Charter of Needs manifesto, noting that Ebonyi is “badly challenged” and requires the guidance of proven leaders to industrialise and attract business.
Prof. Nnaji will chair the team alongside Associate Professor Ben Uruchi Odoh, who was named Secretary, and other notable members drawn from academia, industry, and business leadership.
